Laxmi Villas Palace- The Laxmi Villas palace is known for its distinctive style of architecture. For tourists visiting it is nothing less than a tryst with royalty. In the middle of the nineties the palace was converted in to five star luxury hotel and renamed as the Laxmi Vilas Palace of Bharatpur. Tourist are allowed in the vicinity of the complex and catch a glimpse of the history and the culture of the place.

Nazarbaug Palace- This palace offers tourists another tryst with royalty and monarchial and princely hermitage. The Nazarbaug Palace is known as the strong fortress of the Gaekwad dynasty that ruled the ruled the princely state of Baroda in recent times.  The family is known for its contribution the city and the social economic reforms of the state that were formulated by the rulers. The mansion offers a rich heirloom of the family that lives on to the present day. Makharpura Palace- Another example of the royalty and benevolence of the Gaekwad family, the distinctive feature of the state palace is the distinctive architecture that is incompliance with Italian and renaissance style of architecture.  This façade and architectural style has maintained its distinctiveness all through the years. This palace served as the royal summer residence of the family despite the fact that the royal family spends most of their holidays in the Nilgiris. The timely renovation of the years has enhanced the feel of the place and renewed its distinctive splendor.  The palace today is used and currently houses the elite Indian air force.

Kirti Mandir-  The Kirti Mandir is another example of the royalty and heirloom of the royal Gaekwad family. Do not be mistaken there is also a place called Kirthi Mandir that is referred to as the Birth Place of Mahatma Gandhi that is situated at his birthplace Porbandar.  Kirti Mandir was built by the royal family as a tribute the royal family and portraying and preserving some of the best in terms of culture and the heritage of the reason. Built in the year 1936 on the centenary celebrations, The Mandir really radiates the culture and the rich heirloom of the place.

Kirti Stamb- The tower of fame as it is called in an architectural marvel. One the popular landmarks in the city of Porbandar, Kirti Stamb located near Polo grounds is certainly a sight to behold. Baroda Museum and Gallery- This one of the oldest and at the same time most famous museum sin the state. Founded in 1894, this museum houses original and collector addition of paintings from renowned painters. The other exhibits of the collection of Egyptian mummy and a Skelton of a blue whale. Apart from that the collection of the collection also includes artifacts from Akkota that are distinctive for the bronze statues of the Jain temples.

EME Temple- The EME temple Vadodara is a distinctive for its style of architecture and at the same time it’s distinctive religious importance.
