Formerly known as Coorg, Kodagu is a hill station nestled against the lush green and verdant scenic peaks of the Western Ghats. Of late the prominence of Coorg has increased and as such more and more tourist has been visiting this hill station. Coorg offers scenery and unparallel serenity. Coorg is well connected by K.S.R.T.C buses from all over Karnataka, particularly it is connected to the cities Mysore Bangalore and Mangalore. The nearest Rail heads to Coorg is that of Mangalore, Hassan, Mysore and Thalasserry, while the nearest airport is that of Mangalore.
