The services in the temple begin as early as 5 in the morning and continue without any interruption.  Nature is also  An important part of Udupi and as such Malpi beach is also an important tourist destination.  The graceful golden sand beach and the palm trees offer serenity and quietude of the sea side. It is also a perfect place for fishing and water sports. Sand art is also an important features of the landscape.  There are also a number planbs lined up for the Malpi Beach so as to increase the utility of the same.
