¤ Lashkar - The New Town
Deriving its name from the word 'lashkar' (military base), this town
was founded by Daulat Rao Scindhia. Home to the famous Jai Vilas
Palace and Museum, the Moti Mahal, Royal Chhatris, and the Vishnu
Temple among others, it gives us a very good idea about its history
and the changes that have taken place in Gwalior over the year.
