This is one of the oldest cites in the state of Punjab. Bhatinda is also known as the City of Lakes.  Bhatinda is situated in the Indo-Gangetic Arawali Plain at an elevation of 201 meters above sea level. Bhatinda is surrounded by 10 to 12 small towns is also growing industrial hub. The city of Bhatinda is known for its large cultural and religious heritage of the city and as such is an important destination. Weather in Bhatinda is tropical and as such in summers and winters the conditions are at it extreme with temperatures in  summer soaring and hovering around the 45 degree mark and in winter the temperatures seen dropping to as low as 1 degree. Hence the best time to visit Bhatinda is from October to March.

Bhatinda hotels are generally booked between October to April and as such there is a need to book much in advance. The basic utility accommodations are affordable and come with the best facilities. Luxury accommodation are few but the existing few are the best and offer the best.

Travelling in Bhatinda is easy and as such travelling is not a problem as the roads are well connected by roads and the state government has  regular services. Reaching Bhatinda is also not a problem as there are frequent flight and train services .
