Dolphins Nose

This is also one of the most picturesque and awe inspiring places in the hill station and is frequented almost each and every tourists who comes to Kodaikanal. Dolphin’s nose is the peculiar rock formation on the mountain range that has a resemblance to the dolphin’s nose. The intriguing and peculiar feature which can also be described as one of the most beautiful natural phenomenon also takes place here. 



The Brachem Spectre as formed when the sun and the misty clouds are in the opposite directions, a shadow of the clouds are formed and as a result a hallow with the color of the rainbow are visible.  The best time to visit the place is during afternoon and towards the evening when the sun sets and dusk falls.
