Morning in the city of Garden
is cool and filled with panoramic beauty. Get fresh and have
American breakfast as per your choice and order. Today we
would check out all the major tourist spot of this rapidly
growing metropolis. Our today's itinerary includes Tippu's
summer palace , Venkataramanaswamy's temple, Vidhan Soudha ,
Bull temple and Chitrakala Parishad. We would Start with
Tippu's summer palace, the construction of which began by
Hyder Ali , former king and father of Tippu Sultan but
completed by Tippu Sultan, the most famous king in the history
of Karnataka , India for his gallantry and ambitions. From
there we would visit Venkataramanswamy's temple, 300 yr old
and built by Maharaja Wodiyar, displays some of the finest
aspects of Dravidian temple architecture. From there we would
move to see the famous Vidhan Soudha . This granite building
houses the secretariat and legislative assembly. The building
has a Neo - Dravidian architecture. For lunch we would be
going to a famous restaurant in Bangalore which have variety
of cuisine from Continental to Karnataka cuisine. After lunch
we would go to Bull temple which is known for its typical
Dravidian architecture. Nandi Bull is the presiding diety of
the temple , which is the 4.5 tall and 6 m long monolithic
statue. After visiting the temple we would move towards
Chitrakala Parishad, a treasure house of Karnataka's classical
art. You would see here a big collection of traditional
paintings and leather puppets used mainly in folklore. We
would spend the evening strolling in the down town market
shopping various sandal wood items, which are quite famous in
Bangalore. Perfumes are must buy here. Return to the hotel for
sumptuous dinner and take rest tonight in your room.

Early morning in the
Nagarhole , have breakfast and get ready for wild life safari.
Nagarhole is also known as Rajeev Gandhi National Park houses
the variety of animals and enriched with vegetation and
plantation due to high rainfall during monsoon. The Kabini
river flows in the boundary of This wild life Sanctuary. Enjoy
the elephant safari and see the group of Cheetals waiting for
you in the opposite side. The Tahr, dhole (wild dog), Asiatic
elephant, leopard, panther, sloth bear, gaur, sambhar, deer,
giant squirrel, langurs, wild dog, flying wild boar and many
more like them are the widely seen animal in the park. It is
also home of 250 species of birds. During Jeep Safari you can
enjoy bird watching and game viewing. After lunch we would go
for angeling in River Kabini. Day is free for leisure
activities. Return back to the hotel in the late evening. A
campfire is organized by the hotel authority. Enjoy your drink
after dinner with every one, sharing their experiences and
participate in games and story telling. Go to bed in late
night and have a sound sleep in the quiet and cold night of
Nagarhole. |

Kumarakom - Backwater

Open your eyes in the
foggy surroundings of Kumarakom in early morning. The lush
greenery surrounded with clouds and crystal like dew would
refresh you. After breakfast get ready to see the most
exotic locations of Kumarakom. We would start with
Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls , a famous picnic spot in Kottayam
town. The streams of waterfall are so fast and the water
drops dazzle like pearls in the stream. Next we would
enjoy , what Kumarakom is famous for , Backwater Cruises.
These endless network of snaking water, spread miles are
called backwaters of Kerala and these are especially
famous in Kumarakom. The backwater Cruise is the most
popular attraction of Kerala among its tourists. Enjoy the
backwater cruise on its waterways, flanked by emerald
palms both sides , the whole environment is so tranquil
and alluring. We would have lunch on the cruise only. This
is the unique system of food delivery on cruise in
Kumarakom. Your lunch would be delivered in a tiffin by a
boat man on your cruise, the same which you ordered. The
fragrance of still hot Idelis, sambar , dosa and other
delicacies of Kerala would make you more desirous. After
having lunch in this tranquil environment , we would move
further and reach very famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
Situated on the southern bank of Kavanar river , this
sanctuary is a small one but offers a big diverse range of
bird species. Take the rare pictures of marsh harries,
teals, darters, brahminy kites,bitterns, and several
varieties of herons roost. After having a full visit of
the sanctuary and enjoying bird watching , we would have a
sunset trip , Kettuvalam ( local boat) , which is an
integral part of Kumarakom tour. You would have a close
look of rural lifestyle of local people. The trip provides
a deeper understanding of the life in Kerala. Return back
to the hotel in night. Dinner would be served on your
arrival. Overnight stay in the hotel.
