Bhimtal-A Magnificent Lake Trip

Nainital.
Bhimtal, with its lake, is a peaceful
place. Like Naini Lake, the smaller Bhimtal Lake also offers boating
trip on the lake. Saat Tal is 21km from Nainital, and is so named
because of its seven lakes (saat: seven).
Trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and rock climbing are some of the
sports recommended here. 26km from Nainital is Naukuchiyatal, which
has a nine-cornered lake, and hence the name (nau: nine).

Main Attractions
Bhowali, near Nainital, is famous for its gardens and orchards.
Kainchi is a situated on the road to Almora, and is known for a
temple built by a sage called Neem Karauli Baba. Thousands of devotees
come here to pray.
At the nearby Hanuman Garhi is a 4m high statue of Hanuman, the
monkey-god.
Gorkhakhal is another small town famous for its temple. It is
believed that praying here leads to the fulfillment of one’s
wishes.
