SJVN Limited was incorporated in the year 1988. The company is the largest operational hydroelectric power generation facility in India based on installed capacity, with an aggregate generation capacity of 1,500 MW. The Company’s projects include Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station; Rampur HEP; Luhri HEP, with 775 megawatts of installed capacity; Devsari HEP, with 252 megawatts of installed capacity; Naitwar Mori HEP, with 60 megawatts of installed capacity; Jakhol Sankri HEP, with 51 megawatts of installed capacity; Arun III HEP, with 900 megawatts of installed capacity; Dhaulasidh HEP, with 66 megawatts of installed capacity; Wangchu HEP, with 600 megawatts of installed capacity, and Kholongchu HEP, with 600 megawatts of installed capacity. The Company is constructing the 412 megawatts Rampur Hydro Electric Project in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
