Uttam Galva Steels Limited is a manufacturer of cold rolled steel (CR) and galvanized steel (GP) in Western India. The Company is into the business of procuring hot rolled steel (HR) and processing it into CR and further into GP and Colour Coated Coils. In Galvanized coils it specializes in making ultra thin sheets, which could be as low as 0.13 millimeter thickness. The Company's manufacturing facilities are located at Khopoli, in the state of Maharashtra, India. The Company exports its products to 144 countries across the globe. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011 (fiscal 2011), it established its Uttam Suraksha Galvanised Corrugated Roofing Sheets (GC) brand in the Construction segment. It is a supplier to Value Industries (Videocon), Whirlpool, LG Electronics, Voltas, Haier Appliances, Samsung, Western Refrigeration and others. Its products are used in a range of applications, including construction, white goods, office equipment, transport and containers.
