Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (Zee) is an integrated media and entertainment company engaged primarily in broadcasting and content development, production and its delivery via satellite. The Company operates in three segments: Broadcasting and content (B & C), which principally consists of developing, producing and procuring television programming and movie content and delivering via satellites, thereby earning revenues by way of advertisement and subscription revenues and syndication; Education, which principally consists of distribution of software learning products, imparting education, and Film Production which principally consists of production and distribution of films. Pursuant to the Composite Scheme, ETC Networks Limited had merged with the Company on March 31, 2010, and upon such merger, the education business undertaking stood demerged from the Company and vested in Zee Learn Limited. Zee derives revenue mainly from advertisements and subscription.
