The Birla Science Museum was started in 1990, and is Hyderabad's only museum dedicated to science. Which is not surprising since you cannot make a business out of running science museums. The museum has 4 sections which are Interactive Science Center, Archaeology Center and the Nirmala Birla Art Gallery, Dinosaurium, Window On Science. Each section is unique and literally exciting for those who are lovers of science. A worth visiting place for kids and families. The musuem is closed on public holidays and Sundays and on rest of the days it is opened between 9am to 5pm.
