Established in 1917, National Library Hall is ideally located at Bandra in Mumbai. This Library is home to more than 40,000 valuable books on almost any subject in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. Segregated into parts, a complete section is dedicated to Indian authors and to non-fiction or academic books. Attracting crowd between the age bracket of 7 to 15, the collection for children's reading includes an impressive comic book collection where you can get lost in the Asterix and Obelix, Sandman, Herge, Archies and the Phantom. Allowing you to browse through a collection of bestsellers, classics, biographies, sci-fi, fantasy, chick-lit and children’s books, the library remains open between 8 AM to 7:45 PM from Monday to Friday. On Saturday, it remains open from 8 AM to 12 PM and remains closed on Sundays.
