Western Railway Heritage Gallery is located at Nariman road in Nariman point. More a large display room than full-fledged museum, the new Western Railway Heritage Gallery is the Indian Railways' first attempt at making its rich past accessible to the public. Head to the Western Railway Heritage Gallery's Churchgate headquarters (housed in a building that is as much a piece of history as its contents) for a peek at century-old models of train compartments, brass bells and whistles, early rail maps, lithographs depicting newly-built stations and a lot of pressure gauges. It is opened between 11am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday.
