Taurus Mutual Fund was amongst the first few private sector Mutual Funds to be registered with SEBI. Taurus Mutual Fund launched its first scheme – Taurus Starshare in early 1994 which is operational even today. The major reason behind this is the returns it has been giving since its launch. The fund is managed by Taurus Asset Management Co. Ltd. The company has a large client base from all over the country. The company offers various products like Equity oriented schemes, Debt based schemes and an Equity Linked Savings Scheme, etc.
As on 31st December, 2012 the company had assets amounting to INR 4, 200 crores to manage.
