Dutt who presided over the launch of the new Blackberry Z10 smart phone has resigned with immediate effect. The spokesperson for the company said that Rick Constazo, executive vice president would oversee the responsibilities of the company till the next leader is selected. Stressing on the importance of the Indian market the spokesperson said that the company was keen on building the momentum it received with the launch of the new Blackberry 10.

Blackberry Chief Executive Thorsten Heins expressed his shock and stated that news comes at very crucial time for the company. He also stated that entire stock of Blackberry Z10 sold out in just two days of its launch in India.
