CTET 2014 date announced

Mumbai Oct 11: CTET 2014 date was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday. The next Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) would be held on 16th February 2014 (Sunday). The board also announced the other important dates for the exam. This national level test is a pre-requirement for teaching aspirants wishing to teach classes I to VIII in central aided, state aided, unaided private as well as schools in states where TET is not conducted. 

 

This year the board had conducted the exam on July 28,2013. The result of the exam were declared on September 03, 2013. This year a record 11 percent of the 9 lakh candidates who appeared, qualified the test as compared to  02 percent last year.

 

As per the schedule candidates can submit their online application starting from today till the 30th October, 2013. The last date for submission of the confirmation page for the exam is 07th November 2013. The board is expected to release a notification regarding the exam soon.

 

 The Human Resource Development Ministry has entrusted CBSE with the conduct of CTET 2014.
