Nargis Fakhri is just one film old but has also garnered support and fan base has been the reason for the success. She shot to fame with her modeling career and in particular the Kingfisher Calendar franchise. She narrowly missed being selected in Americas Next Top model. Her first film role was instrumental in bagging three successive roles.

Nargis Fakhri early life- Nargis Fakhri was born to a Czech mother and Pakistani father. Her parents divorced when she was just six years old and was further raised by her mother. When asked about her father’s homeland she said she has never been there. She grew up as an American citizen.

Nargis Fakhri Career- Nargis Fakhri was interested in modeling and nearly missed her chance of making it in American’s Top Model.  However she was auditioned for the second cycle of the show that premiered in January 13th, 2004. Thus she became the first a model to brought on the show. Nargis then signed up Ford Models in  Los Angeles. Chicago, New York, San Francisco and  Miami NOVA Models in New Zealand, Leni's Models in London, ANC models in Hamburg, Scoop Models in Denmark, La Agencia in Spain, Mannequin Studio in Singapore, SG Planet Models in India and CESD for television.

In her lucrative modeling assignments Fakhri also got the chance in 2008 and to shoot for the King Fisher Calendar and was part of the 2009 Kingfisher Calendar. Nargis Fakhri made her Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film Rockstar (2011). The films got mixed response as far as critics are considered. The film was considered as a hit among the young audiences. Nargis also shared an award with Ranbir Kapoor for the hottest couple for the movie.

Nargis Fakhri Personal Life- Nargis Fakhri has remained low key in terms of her personal life. However her favorite hobbies include cooking, yoga, and meditation.

Nargis Controversy- As a newcomer she has kept away from any controversy whatsoever and when she was selected to replace the role of Deepika in the movie Race 2 she promptly denied the role, not wishing to involved in any sort of controversy what so ever. A high-profile multi-starrer like Race 2 would have been a wise move for a newcomer like Nargis, but full marks to her for sticking to her own rules a source commented.
