Kankaria Zoo is famously known as Kamla Nehru Zoo and is designed by the expert Reuben David. It is spread over 31 acres on the Lake of Kankaria, Ahemdabad and was rated the best zoo in Asia.
Timings
March to October :- 9:00am to 6:15 pm
November to February :- 9:00am to 5:30 pm
Entry Fees
Rs. 10 for adults, Rs. 5 for children
Rs. 3 for Educational Tour
Attractions
The major attraction of the zoo is the kankaria lake where the zoo is built. There multiple attraction in the zoo like different reptiles which includes python, anaconda, snakes. The zoo has 450 mammals which includes tigers, lions, white blackbuck, chinkara, elephants, emu, jungle babbler. There is also an museum which shows wildlife pictures and distended birds.
