 Mudumalai National Park

Mudumalai National Park was eastablished in 1940 at the tri junction of the three southern states of Tamilnadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. The park has  50 species of fishes, 21 species of amphibians, 34 species of reptiles, 227 species of birds and 55 species of mammals. The zoo attracts many visitors every year.

 

Timings

6.30 am - 9.00 am and 3.00 pm - 6.00 pm

 

Entry Fees

Rs. 15 for adults, Rs. 10 for children

 

Attractions

The major attraction of the park is Elephant Safari and Van Safari and you can see Asian elephant, Tiger, Leopard, Gaur, Hyena. There is a museum  where some animals who once lived in the Mudumalai Jungle are preserved. There is also boating done in the Pykara Lake.
