National Zoological Park Delhi

National Zoological Park Delhi was set up in the year 1959 near the Old Fort in Delhi. It is spread over 176 acre of  of lush greenery. It take almost more than 2hours to enjoy the whole zoo. The zoo has benches along the way for visitors. It is the best place to enjoy special time with your family. You can enjoy multiple types of animals in the zoo and there are many animals which are from different countries. The zoo provides  battery operated vehicle which is available for the visitors on rent. The visitors has to pay charges for carrying video cameras.
 

The zoo timings are divided according to months like from 1st April to 15th October :- 9:00am to 4:30pm
16th October to 31st March :-  9:30am to 4:00pm

The park remains closed on friday

Rs. 10 for adults, Rs. 5 for children

There is concession for students on educational tours from Schools, Colleges :-

Rs. 5 for for adults, Rs. 2 for children

The best attraction of the zoo is underground Reptile Home complex where you can see King Cobra and Python. Many other good attractions includes white tiger, black bucks, cheetah.
