Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Sanjay Gandhi National Park is situated in Borivali and is said to be one of the most visited National Park in Asia. It is also known as Borivali National Park.  The park annually has 2 million visitors. It is the best family destination and has wide range of attractions.
 

The daily timing of visiting the park is 7:30 to 6pm.

Sanctuary Timings: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
Safari Timings: Morning session: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Evening session: 2.20 pm to 5.20 pm
 

The entrance fees is around Rs. 30.

The major attraction of the zoo is tiger & lion safaris, toy train, boating, trekking, rock climbing, and hand-carved Buddhist caves. The timings for tiger & lion safaris starts from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. and 2.20 p.m. The ride cost is Rs. 30. The boat rides is another major attraction of 15 minutes starts from 9 a.m to 12.30 pm and 1.30 p.m to 5:30 pm. Its cost is Rs. 15. The 2400 years old  Kanheri cave is also enjoyed alot by the visitors and the timings are from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Its cost is Rs.100
