Buddhist temples in Itanagar

Itanagar is certainly replete in terms of religious places and monasteries.  Monasteries of Arunachal Pradesh are filled with an ambience of spirituality and religious fervor. In this respect Buddha Vihar is an important place of worship and is frequented by tourist as well. Built in  typical style of Buddhist construction, the temple welcomes tourism with its glimmering shades of the  of the temple that has a combination of fresh yellow pastels and is against the backdrop of tall pines and potted plants that have neatly arranged near the steps thus welcoming the tourists into a garden atmosphere of spirituality.  The shrine is situated behind a stupa and the tress that was planted by his Holiness the dalai Lama.
