Ganga Lake- Starting off with nature, The Ganga Lake in Itanagar is a preferred tourist destination and the reason for this is the ecosystem. Situated at a distance of about six kilometers from the main city of Itanagar, the lake is surrounded by lush green forest and waters that are extremely clean. The lake is against the background of the hilly mountains. The place offers a number of vistas for nature lovers and a solace that is unparallel especially for those who thirst for tranquility of mind. Nature at finest and sublime form there are disturbances, no feelings that tourists spoil the natural aura and charm of the place.  There is an enchanting feeling that is in the ambience of the environment. Ita Fort- The Ita is a testimony of a bygone era and the bastion of the  Ahom empire that  ruled the north eastern territory in the in around the 12 century. Situated in an area of almost one square kilometer the forth derives its name from the bricks that were used for construction of the fortress. Today it might be in its splendor but even in its present form is a reminder of the dynasty and the distinctive architectural style.  At the time of the construction it was indeed an architectural marvel. The construction of such a fortress was said to be done with eight million bricks and 45000 workmen. Considering that this place was not at all conducive to construction.  The fort has 12 gates in total with three gates each on four directions of north south east and west. For those interested in exploration this is a perfect place to explore and understand the rich history of the region and at the same time a perfectly place of tranquility and has a very mystic and serene ambience that welcomes tourists.

Buddhist temples in Itanagar- Itanagar is certainly replete in terms of religious places and monasteries.  Monasteries of Arunachal Pradesh are filled with an ambience of spirituality and religious fervor. In this respect Buddha Vihar is an important place of worship and is frequented by tourist as well. Built in  typical style of Buddhist construction, the temple welcomes tourism with its glimmering shades of the  of the temple that has a combination of fresh yellow pastels and is against the backdrop of tall pines and potted plants that have neatly arranged near the steps thus welcoming the tourists into a garden atmosphere of spirituality.  The shrine is situated behind a stupa and the tress that was planted by his Holiness the dalai Lama.

Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum- A museum is a place where tourists frequent or visit to explore and understand the cultures and the heritage of the given place. For lovers of history a visit to museum simply means to build their affinity and knowledge base in the language and the culture. In this aspect this museum is for all tourists as it offers a kaleidoscope of the entire history, culture, tradition, art, literature and various possible understanding and even a showcase of the contemporary. Namdhapa National park- This National park is one of the richest in terms of natural bio diversity and flora and fauna. The park mainly consists of mountainous regions that are filed consists of the riches of ecological with subtropical rain forest trees, bamboo plantations, deciduous and alpine forest types.  The freshness of the ecosystem is also blessed with a peaceful tranquility. There are also various botanical gardens where tourists can have a trip of the entire ecosystem that surrounds the region. The Namdhapa National can invariably call a complete tourists place and within the place itself there are distinctive places. For Instance Firmbase that is excellent place for camping with adequate equipment provided for camping and those interested in spending some time in the wild.  Deban point can be used for the purposes of hiking, trekking and angling as well along the river. Then there is hornbill that is known for the groves.  Gandhi gram, This is also a preferred place in terms of trekking and the lush green forests offer tourists a number of prospects for the same. Finally Camera Point this is also an important tourist destination and camping. Tourists and campers are offered a delightful and breathtaking view of the lush green landscapes.
