ISKCON temple
The ISKCON temple at Guwahati is one of the simplest temples in term of temples found in other parts of the country. The outer walls of the temples are simple and have no elaborate designs or texturing as seen in other temples. The focal point of the temple is the main sanctum that adorns idols of Lord Krishna and Radha.
The society is one of the Hindu Vaishnava religious organizations and has branches all over India and abroad too. Their main aim is to propagate the teachings of Krishna, through the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad-Bhagavatam as well as to teach people about the techniques of spiritual life, so they lead a better and fulfilled life.
