The old Fort- This fort built by Mohammed Tughlak, former governor of Surat in the  14 the century is one of the most popular tourists hotspots in the city. This temple was formerly a small temple in the initial construction in 1978. Today it is one of the most famous and biggest temples in the city of Gujarat covering an area of 13600 sq. feet. The temple is flocked by the faithful and tourists. Pilgrims congregate at the temple on Sundays and other days of worship and at the same time during the celebration of festivals during the Hindu calendar Year.  The levels of spirituality and devotional fervor in the temple are seen as none other.  The temple also has a collection on self help book regarding the Sacred Bhagavad-Gita. On every Sunday after noon the pilgrims to the temple are offered the Maha Prasad that is a meal that is served to all the pilgrims. Rangupavan- for theatre and Art enthusiast the Rangupavan is a must place to visit. This open air amphitheatre is considered to be one of the largest arenas in the entire Indian Subcontinent.  The edifice of the 18 meters high with a performing arena of almost 20 meters and  with an audience capacity of about 4000 people. The arena is used by the tourism department and various amateur and professional for staging cultural and theatre plays and performance. The prospect is certainly awe inspiring as tourists can sit and enjoy the entire performance in the evening light and under the glimmering star lit atmosphere.

Hajira- Hajira is a sea beach destination in the city of Surat.
