Kakkabe

This is also an important tourist destination in the hill station of Coorg. The place has also known as the largest producer of honey in the region. Apart from the panoramic and awe inspiring scenic beauty that adorns this place Kakkabe is also known for the historic and important Padi Igutappa temple. This is one of the lushest green and charming locations. The vicinity of the temple is covered with carpets of green grass. The temple is also known for the pouthari Festival that is celebrated with earnest devotion and in festival pomp.  The region was also at one point in time famous as a hunting destination. The place is filled with old Hunting villas and estates that were used by the British masters.



The Naland Palace is also known as  a perfect place for kiddies park and camp where children can have a fun time out while stay.  The honey farms of Kakkabe are also a perfect place to visit. Here tourist can understand the various stage involved in the processing and the distribution of honey, which is educational but a fun outing experience for the entire family.
