Hence the pointed nose of the cliff has a resemblance to that of the noise of the Duke of Wellington and hence the name.However, it is also known as "Nagfani" (Hood of Snake), as it also looks like the hood of a snake.Apart from that the Duke's nose is also a perfect choice for those whos wish t indulge in mountain climbing. The Duke's nose has a climbing trail that can be easily reached from INS Shivaji and Kurwande Village.

Reversing Station- The Reversing Station which is now a popular tourists destaination that bears a forlon and deserted lok today but was once frequented by tourists. The Reversing station is located under route 26 on the rail route.The place really lights up in the evening when there are numerous lightsin and around the place. Karla and Bhaja Caves- These are rock cut caves and have a deep and historical origins. The rock cut caves date back to the 2nd century and are said to have been built by Buddhist of the Hinayana sect. These caves are valued for their enormous antiquity and beauty.

Bhushi Lake- This also an ideal spot for tourists specially for those who wish in the serenity and the tranquilty of Mother Nature and experince unparallel rest and peace of mind.

Shingroba Temple- The Shingroba Temple is located between Khopoli and Khandala. The temple is located at a steep bend. The temple was built in the year 1929.It is also one of the most hoiliest places of worship in the city in Khandala. Simple in architectural designs the ambience of religious fervor and spirituality is unparalled specially in the main inner sanctum that houses the diety.
