Situated at about two kilometers from Sohra this is a charming village. Much of the changes and the way of life of the villager living the city are credited to the Welsh missionaries who started their ministry in the before independence. This is also the epicenter of the missionary work that later on spread to the Khasi hills and Jaintia hills.
