Darjeeling / Nightingale Park and Shrubbery Park
The nightingale and the Srubbery park are two important tourists parks in the of Darjeeling. During the tourists season there are frequent cultural programs organized for the tourists. Situated at about 4 to 5 kilometers from Darjeeling station and walk able distance from Chowrasta. The park recently went through a series of redevelopment projects. There is a nominal fee for tourists who wish to take pictures. The best time for tourists visiting the place is in the evenings when the place is lit up and is abuzz with visitors.
