Digha is known as a popular and growing sea resort destination in the state of West Bengal. Situated in the district of East Midnapur and is often referred to as ‘Brighton of the east’ in the words of the tyrant erstwhile serving Governor general Warren Hastings and is one of the widest beaches in the entire world.
