Shirpur Gold Refinery Limited (SGRL) is a gold and silver refinery company. As of March 31, 2010, the Company had an installed refining capacity of 217 tons per annum of gold and silver, respectively in Shirpur, Maharashtra. The principal business of SGRL is refining of gold and manufacturing marketable products, such as gold bars of 100 grams, one kilogram, or different denominations. It is a state-of-the-art refinery, occupying a 50-acre complex set up at a cost of INR 250 crore (US$45.5 million). It is among the most advanced in the world and also owns its own airport with 24 hour landing facilities.
