Shreyas Shipping and Logistics was incorporated in 1994. The Company operates in two business segments - Shipping and Logistics. Shipping consists of Charter hire and Logistics includes Feeder, Domestic and Liner business. The Company has through its wholly owned subsidiary, Shreyas Relay Systems Limited (SRS), ventured into road transportation, warehousing and rail movement. The Company had a fleet of four vessels, which operate on the East and West coast of India. These vessels carry three types of cargoes viz feeder, domestic and regional. Feeder cargo is the transshipment cargo for Main Line Operators (MLO) from hub ports to smaller ports since the big vessels cannot call all the Indian ports. Domestic cargo is the movement of cargo from Northern India to Southern India. Regional cargo is the movement of cargo from India to other regional ports, such as Karachi and Colombo.
