Known both as pilgrim and destination and for scenic beauty Gulbarga is another confluence of nature and religious fervor. The region is characterized by black cotton soil, expanses of flat treeless surface, a range of hills covering a surface of about 60 miles and same lower belts following the main rivers. This is more known for the serenity and the quietude that is offered to pilgrims. It offers pilgrims the good confluence of Nature and religious fervor. The pilgrim city also boasts of years of the rich hermitage. Gulbarga Tourism offers tourists a confluence of religion and beautiful surroundings.

There are a number of tourist places that can be visited. Industrially the town is isolated however there are places which the tourist can visit that include the deteriorated for which is not much of a tourist attraction but is still a popular picnic destination. The Jama Masjid built in the 15thand 16th century. The dome of the place is uniquely constructed and has 75 smaller domes in and around the place. The tombs of the Muslim states are  also a popularly visited by tourists. Sri Kshetra Ghangapur is a famous pilgrimage center of God Sri Sad guru Dattatrya, situated very close to Gulbarga.  The other places of worship include the Khawja Nawaz Bande Dargh, Shri Shri Shri Sharana Basaveshwara Temple.

The weather in  Gulbarga can be really humid in summers and at the same time there is pleasantness in the winters. The best season to visit Gulbarga is during the months of October to March. Accommodations In Gulbarga are few however the basic and economy accommodations offer tourist the opportunity of good stay with all the basic and necessary amenities.  There are now luxury accommodations as well that offer tourist depending upon the needs and the wants.

Though Gulbarga may not offer all the best services however offers  the best confluence of culture and tradition that are sure  does have the propensity to cater to the needs and the further developments by the state government and the department of tourism is also a positive signs for city in terms of tourism. However this town continues to offer a good confluence of nature well preserved in the rich heritage.
